National Construction Code reforms

Federal and state ministers have agreed today to significant building regulation reforms to the National Construction Code (NCC).

The Australian Building Ministers’ Forum have agreed in principle to make the 2015 National Construction Code (NCC) and future editions freely available online, with details to be finalised in the coming months. The forum also agreed to move from a one-year to a three-year amendment cycle for the code, commencing with 2016 NCC.
