On 1 May 2016, the National Construction Code (NCC) 2016 came into operation across all Australian States and Territories.
The NCC 2016 sets the minimum requirements for the design, construction and performance of buildings throughout Australia. Building and plumbing practitioners are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the NCC 2016 and the latest amendments to the code, which is available on the ABCB website.
