From Monday 12 December 2016, VBA site signs will be available for eligible building practitioners to display on their sites. The new signs are designed to help practitioners comply with their legislative requirement to display correct information at building sites.
The signs have been developed in consultation with industry and practitioners to ensure they are a useful and practical tool for registered practitioners. Each corflute sign measures 40 cm x 60 cm and features four metal eyelets and cable ties for easy installation.
To be eligible for a VBA site sign, you must be currently registered as a building practitioner in one of the following categories:
- Commercial Building (all classes)

Eligible practitioners can collect a site sign free of charge from the VBA office (and select regional offices) by showing a current registration card. VBA inspectors will also carry site signs for distribution to practitioners where relevant.
