Updated WaterMark Schedule of Specifications and WaterMark List of Approved Users
Thursday, 15 December 2016
On Tuesday 15 November 2016, the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) announced the release of updated versions of key documents for the mandatory Watermark certification scheme.
The WaterMark Certification Scheme Schedule of Specifications (WMSS) is a complete listing of the plumbing materials and products that require Watermark certification. The WMSS also lists the Specifications that particular products or materials must be certified to in order to receive WaterMark certification.
Changes to the WMSS include:
- listing of the recently adopted WMTS.520 for semi flexible metallic hose assemblies
- listing of AS 5830.1 for ball valves – metallic and plastic, control isolating. This Standard has previously been adopted but was not listed in the Schedule of Specifications.
- Removal of WMTS.510 for heated water manual time activated pump systems. This Technical Specification was listed in the Schedule in error as it has never been published or adopted by the WaterMark Scheme.
The WMSS can be accessed at the ABCB website.
The WaterMark List of Approved Users contains a comprehensive list of the manufacturers and suppliers who have been approved to use the WaterMark trademark on their products or materials. The List has been updated from information provided by the WaterMark Conformity Assessment Body and replaces the previous version dated 2012.
The complete List of Approved Users can be accessed at the ABCB website.
