Monday, 2 May 2016

The VBA's Building Industry Seminar Seminars launches in Melbourne on 10 May, with events being held across Victoria during May and June 2016. Places at the VBA's Building Industry Seminar Series 2016 are filling up fast, with over half of tickets sold in just two days.

The seminar series will provide practitioners with an update on matters related to the regulation of their industry, including changes to the National Construction Code and Building Practice Notes, proposed reforms to the Building Act and VBA complaints and inspections activities.

This year, changes to the format of the seminars will allow the events to be more interactive and even more focused on the issues that are most important to industry practitioners. Attendees are being invited to view a series of online videos covering the changes to the Building Code of Australia and Reference Standards prior to attending the seminars then submit questions or matters for discussion to the VBA.

Questions and comments submitted will be addressed in detail through workshop and panel sessions at the seminars.

Places at the seminars are strictly limited. To register, visit the Seminar page.
