VBA officers target Bendigo
VBA officers carried out a large-scale field inspection operation in April, visiting 177 sites in the Bendigo region over two days.
Targeting residential building sites with permits issued in October 2018, the VBA sought to determine whether site signage complied with building regulations and all required documentation was present on each site.
Building industry professionals present on sites with non-compliant signage or documentation were provided with clear instructions on how to resolve the issues identified.
The VBA also sent each industry professional additional information outlining the requirements for signage and documentation on building sites.
