Webinar series educates practitioners in record numbers

The Victorian Building Authority’s (VBA) Practitioner Education Series webinars are free of charge and aim to improve the knowledge and skills of building and plumbing practitioners by promoting better quality construction work that complies with best practice.

The Practitioner Education Series continues to prove popular with consecutive record-breaking webinars held this year. A February webinar presented by Dr Tim Law, Research insights: Water damage and the risk of mould in buildings attracting 1,324 practitioners and stakeholders.

Two March webinars, Common roof drainage faults and enquiries – box gutters and Waterproofing of wet areas were attended by 1,471 and 1,673 people respectively.

Our technical experts and presenters have welcomed the enthusiasm and engagement from attendees, with numerous questions posed during these webinars. The VBA has commenced production of Q&A fact sheets, answering common questions posed during webinars, and published these on our website.
