Update your contact details

Building and plumbing practitioners have an obligation to keep their contact information up to date under the Building Act 1993. You must notify the VBA of any changes to your address or phone number within 14 days of the change.

Individual building practitioners

You can update your contact details, such as your business phone, business address, home address, postal address, mobile phone number and email address by Logging in to VBA and accessing “Your Profile” page.

To change your name or date of birth, call the VBA on 1300 815 127.

Alternatively, you may email your updated contact details and practitioner registration number to the VBA.

Company building practitioners

Please email your companies updated contact details and practitioner registration number to the VBA.

Plumbing practitioners

To update your address or phone number, log in to eToolbox.
