Plumbing: Common Plumbing Enquiries

The webinar aims to increase practitioner knowledge of the Deemed-to-Satisfy requirements across multiple classes of plumbing work and to raise awareness of the resources available, both from the VBA and elsewhere, which can assist with addressing these fundamental requirements.

Please note that due to pending changes to the current gas installation standard, this webinar will not address any gasfitting questions.

About the presenters:

Neville Campbell is a Senior Technical Advisor and Acting Team Leader within the Technical & Regulation (Plumbing) team. With over 18 years' experience in the plumbing industry, Neville has worked in both commercial and domestic sectors prior to joining the VBA. Neville is an adept technical report writer and routinely represents the VBA in matters before the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Phillip Locke has been actively working in the plumbing industry for the last 38 years most of which managing his family owned domestic, commercial, and civil plumbing company. After a period working for Workcover Victoria and NSW investigating workplace accidents, Phil joined the VBA in 2015 leading the plumbing compliance and enforcement investigation unit. Currently Phil is leading the plumbing technical team under the Office of the State Building Surveyor.
