VBA offers valuable career advice to young builders
Information and education are vital for young builders about to enter the industry.
Over the past few months, the VBA’s Knowledge and Experience team has been attending industry open days at TAFEs across Victoria, offering young builders valuable career advice and information on the registration process.
Attending Holmesglen’s Building and Construction Open Day on 9 May, our staff answered questions and gave students practical guidance on topics such as recording evidence of supervision for domestic and commercial builders and building surveyors.
The VBA’s advice was well received, with many students commenting that the VBA’s help and advice made the entire registration process very clear.
The VBA looks forward to meeting many more aspiring builders and building surveyors at industry events later this year.
